Brent Houlden

Since retiring from Deloitte in November 2014, Brent Houlden has worked on a series of urgent and critical assignments as a Chief Restructuring Officer or interim leader. He is operationally focused with retail, distribution, real estate and other consumer-businesses industry expertise.  As a senior Deloitte partner, he held various leadership positions which involved building Deloitte’s Consulting and Financial Advisory practices. He is currently the CEO of Dealnet Capital Corp, a consumer finance lender. His other governance experience has included serving on the Canadian Board of Directors of Deloitte, past-Chair of University of Toronto Press and the past-Treasurer and director of The Empire Club. He actively advises various early stage companies. His professional and academic qualifications include ICD.D, CPA - CA, Licensed Insolvency Trustee, and a MBA.

Brent has been a member of the board since 2014 and serves on the Finance and Investment Committee.
